The EiceDRIVER™ 2EDL6014AC-G2D is a 120 V junction-isolated dual channel floating output gate driver engineered for high-density silicon power designs in AI datacenter applications.

Infineon Technologies AG introduces the EiceDRIVER™ 2EDL6014AC-G2D, a 120 V junction-isolated dual channel floating output gate driver engineered for high-density silicon power designs in AI datacenter applications. Housed in a compact WQFN-12 2.2 mm x 2.2 mm package, the device addresses the growing demand for power conversion solutions that deliver higher server rack density without sacrificing reliability or thermal performance. The 2EDL6014AC-G2D supports dual high-side, dual low-side, and half-bridge configurations, making it a versatile platform driver across the switched-capacitor and multilevel topologies increasingly adopted in next-generation AI server power architectures.

The 2EDL6014AC-G2D provides two completely independent floating output gate drivers, each capable of driving a high-side MOSFET operating at up to 120 V. Full 4 A source and 6 A sink current driving capability ensures reliable switching performance under demanding load conditions. Separate INA and INB input pins enable independent control of both channels, with integrated deglitch filtering for improved noise immunity in high-density PCB environments. The input stage is 3.3 V and 5 V logic compatible and can be directly connected to microcontroller ground to maximize signal integrity. Undervoltage lockout (UVLO) on both floating output supplies forces the corresponding outputs low in the event of insufficient supply voltage, supporting safe system startup. An exposed pad provides low thermal impedance, improving heat dissipation under sustained heavy loads, a characteristic directly relevant to the continuous high-utilization operating profiles of AI inference and training infrastructure.

The 2EDL6014AC-G2D is designed to integrate seamlessly with Infineon's broad AI server power delivery portfolio, which spans the full power chain from grid to core. This includes solid-state transformers and circuit breakers, power supply and battery backup units, intermediate bus converters, and second-stage DC conversion power modules. By combining the complementary strengths of silicon, silicon carbide (SiC), and gallium nitride (GaN), Infineon provides customers with a clear, proven path to complete end-to-end power architectures supported by consistent design resources and scalable, high-quality components tailored to next-generation AI server platforms.
