Jumpers Offer Current Ratings From 14.2 to 63.2 Amps

    07/17/2018

RALEIGH, NCStackpole's HCJ Series, a surface mount chip jumper, offers current ratings ranging from 14.2 amps for the 0402 up to 63.2 amps for the HCJ2512. In comparison, the typical rated current for a standard 2512 thick film jumper is 3 amps.

The HCJ0402 has a maximum resistance of 3 milliohms while the other sizes have a maximum resistance of 0.5 milliohms. This ensures much lower power dissipation for the HCJ compared to similar jumpers with typical resistance of up to 50 milliohms. In addition, the HCJ is AEC-Q200 compliant.

The HCJ is available in chip sizes 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 2512 and is 100% RoHS compliant and lead free.

Pricing is size dependent and ranges from $0.067 to $0.11 each in full reel quantities. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distributor partners for volume pricing.
