BT900 Bluetooth Smart Ready module

LSR was recently acquired by Laird, giving them the ability to provide customers with an expanded breadth of certified RF Modules. The first modules introduced are Laird's BT900 Bluetooth Smart Ready modules. These modules reduce the burden and design risk of integrating Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy into any OEM device. With the ability to run both the Bluetooth stack and your custom application right on the module via Laird's easy-to-learn smartBASIC programming language, it provides a secure, comprehensive platform for any embedded Bluetooth design.

The BT900 is a complete solution, powered CSR 8811 silicon and a low power Cortex M3 microcontroller. The modules incorporate all the hardware and firmware features required to support development of Bluetooth Smart Ready dual mode applications, including:

-Support of simultaneous BT and BLE connections
-Broad range of hardware interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, GPIO
-Small footprint: 19 mm x 12.5 mm x 2.5 mm
-smartBASIC for rapid on-module application development
-Support any BLE Peripheral or Central roles, including SPP
-Hostless operation - reducing overall BOM cost
