    Lantiq Names Dominik Bilo as Chief Operating Officer

    Lantiq, a leading supplier of broadband access and home networking technologies, announced that Dominik Bilo joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective October 1, 2010. Bilo is responsible for the company's supply chain and quality management as well as test and product engineering. In addition to other assignments he will own Lantiq's customer satisfaction program. "His broad experience in the semiconductor industry as well as in the OEM space gives us a significant advantage as a leading-edge fabless company with a full focus on providing best possible service to our customers, and we look forward to his key contributions and expertise to help guide us." Bilo has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and semiconductor industry, including the wireline and broadband product segments. In his most recent position, he was Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing and Distribution at Infineon Technologies where his experience focused on wireline, wireless, chip card and marketing services. Before joining Infineon, he was the head of purchasing and logistics for analog, digital and mobile phones at Siemens. Bilo will join Lantiq in the company's Munich/Neubiberg, Germany location.
