Lattice explains the new USB C tech at embedded world 2015 (PSDtv)

    03/14/2015

In this episode of PSDtv Lattice Semiconductor explains the new USB 3.0 tech at embedded world 2015 for Power Systems Design. The USB Type-C is a significant improvement over prior versions of USB, the most appreciated being a reversible connector, two channels of 10 Gbps USB data, flexible alternate modes for transporting non-USB data, and up to 100W of power delivery. The Lattice USB Type-C reference design provides three solutions that enable designers to meet these new requirements while using their existing chipsets.
