Mouser Electronics announced it is stocking the Littelfuse PICO® 259-UL913 fuse - presented as the only fuse approved under the UL913 standard to operate in hazardous locations. Littelfuse PICO® 259-UL913 series fuses meet the UL 913 standard for Intrinsically Safe Electrical Equipment to operate in hazardous locations. In addition, the 259-UL913 meets ATEx, IECEx, and Baseef requirements. Ideal for use in the oil, gas, mine, chemical, processing, and pharmaceutical industries, the 259-UL913 fuse was designed to limit the energy and temperature generated during its operation. Hermetically sealed and available with a 62mA - 5A range, the fuses are used in testing, measuring, and processing electronic and electrical equipment.
