    Mark Newton joins silicon oscillator company eoSemi as VP Operations

    eoSemi, the all-silicon oscillator company, announces the appointment of Mark Newton as VP Operations. Newton was previously VP Operations at Trident Microsystems and before that held senior management positions at NXP Semiconductors and Philips Semiconductors. He has also run his own consulting business specialising in semiconductor industry operations. Commenting on his latest role, Newton said, "eoSemi is an exciting business that demonstrates, once again, the innovation and creativity in UK electronics.
