    Micrel Promotes Robert Wahl To Managing Director, Worldwide Supply Chain Management And Backend Operations

    Micrel, an industry leader in analog, high bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, has announced that Robert Wahl has been promoted to Managing Director of Worldwide Supply Chain Management and Backend Operations.Previously the Director of Micrel's Globa l Supply Chain, Mr. Wahl has been responsible for Micrel's worldwide supply chain, including all inventory levels/turns, sales operations support, and accountable for the company's purchasing process.Reporting directly to Micrel's Vice President of Worldwide Operations, with this promotion, Mr. Wahl will continue his current role, while taking on the additional responsibility for backend operations, which include worldwide assembly, test and supplier management. "Robert has done an excellent job of managing Micrel's complex and dynamic supply chain disciplines," noted Guy Gandenberger, vice president worldwide operations and Foundry business unit, Micrel."As one of the few U.S. companies that own and operate a fab domestically, Micrel must execute globally while managing and delivering thousands of products, services, and support that continuously improve customer satisfaction and the Company's profit and cost goals."
