MicroPower Direct unveils the MPM-05SV series of miniature, single output 5W AC/DC power supplies

    01/15/2016

Available now from MicroPower Direct, the MPM-05SV series is a family of miniature, single output 5W AC/DC power supplies. They are part of a series of products that range from 5W to 25W. These units are specifically designed to allow use in industrial power systems requiring 277 VAC operation.

Six standard models operate from a wide universal input of 85 to 305 VAC, providing tightly regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, and 24 VDC. Standard features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, Input-output isolation of 3k VAC, and tight line/load regulation.

All models are protected for overload, over voltage and short circuit faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPM-05SV series is greater than 300 khours. All models are approved to EN 60950 and are certified to CE. They are RoHS compliant.

The MPM-05SV series is packaged in a compact PCB mount case measuring 2.10 x 1.77 x 0.826 inches. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (ambient). The MPM-05SV series is an ideal solution for a wide variety of industrial & commercial applications requiring robust performance, compact size, high reliability and economy. With its extended input range, the MPM-05SV series is a good choice for industrial power bus applications.
