Microsemi demos to be powered by the company's PoE solutions Microsemi will demonstrate its new SmartFusion®2 SoC FPGAs, which delivers the security, high reliability and low power required in critical industrial, defense, aviation, communications, medical and motor control applications. Microsemi will also feature its ultra-low-power radio that requires only 2 milliamps (mA) of current to transmit and receive data, enabling extremely long battery life and miniaturization in short-range wireless applications where power consumption is of utmost importance. Additional products to be featured at Embedded World 2013 (Hall 1, Booth 652) include the company's portfolio of sensor solutions. Microsemi's PoE solutions will power many of the demos.
