    Molex Expands High Performance Cable Assembly Capabilities with Acquisition of Specialty Wire & Cable Leader Temp-Flex Cable, Inc.

    Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ:MOLX and MOLXA), a global electronic components company, today said that it has completed the acquisition of South Grafton, Mass.-based Temp-Flex Cable, Inc. Temp-Flex designs and manufactures specialty wire and cable products that provide technological solutions for the medical, aerospace, military, computer, electronics, test and measurement and industrial markets. According to Mike Miskin, vice president and general manager, Cable Products Business Unit of Molex Incorporated's Global Integrated Products Division, this is a strategic acquisition that will give Molex access to development and manufacturing expertise for specialty wire and cable products that will expand its high performance cable assembly business. "Temp-Flex is an excellent fit for Molex because it expands our design and manufacturing capabilities in the specialty wire and cable products that are such an important part of our high performance cable assemblies," said Miskin. "Temp-Flex is a respected industry leader with innovative designs and quality manufacturing processes. They will help us quickly deliver the innovative solutions and specialty cable our global customers demand. Temp-Flex has an excellent group of talented, experienced people in addition to its technical expertise in design and manufacturing."
