Mouser and RFaxis sign global distribution agreement

    04/07/2016

Mouser Electronics announced that it has entered into a global distribution agreement with RFaxis, home to the world's first RF Front-end Integrated Circuit (RFeIC). Mouser will carry several of RFaxis’ CMOS-based radio frequency (RF) solutions. The global agreement extends the reach of RFaxis’ worldwide sales network and provides Mouser with an expanded and differentiated RF portfolio.

The RFaxis product line, now available from Mouser Electronics, feature the company’s highly integrated, single-chip, single-die RFeICs, which significantly simplify design tasks and substantially improve performance. The RFeIC architecture integrates the PA, LNA, transmit and receive switching circuitry; associated matching networks; and harmonic filters in a standard CMOS process.

The RFX1010 is a broadband RFeIC designed for medium to high output power and incorporates all the RF functionality needed for a TDD-mode RF front-end in the 700/800/900MHz bands. The RFX1010 is ideal for multiple applications including IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, automatic meter reading (AMR), smart home area networks, and other ISM applications in the sub-GHz bands.

The RFX2401C is designed for use in 2.4GHz ISM band, and incorporates all the RF functionality needed for the 802.15.4 and ZigBee/THREAD, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy standards. Typical high power applications include home and industrial automation, smart power, and ZigBee RF4CE. The RFX2402E is designed for 802.11b/g/n/ac applications operating at 2.4GHz. The RFX2402C is well suited as the building block for multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) applications and is ideal for single antenna applications.

The RFX2411 incorporates all the RF functionality needed for wireless ZigBee and smart energy applications, and includes a bypass mode as well as antenna diversity to provide maximal level of flexibility for system implementations.
