Mouser Electronics Stocks Samtec 5G Connectivity Solutions

    10/30/2019

Mouser Electronics, Inc., is now stocking 5G automotive and transportation connectivity solutions from Samtec for same-day shipment.

Leveraging next-generation 5G networks and cloud services, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies enable vehicle intelligence, improve traffic flow, and increase safety. Samtec’s automotive solutions include high-performance interconnects engineered to support the ultra-high frequencies and high data rates that 5G technologies like mmWave, massive MIMO, beamforming and full duplex demand.

Samtec SEARAY SEAF high-density socket connectors feature stack heights of 7 mm to 40 mm and PAM-4 performance up to 56 Gbps. The SEAF series includes options for right-angle sockets, 0.8 mm open-pin-field array, press-fit sockets, and right-angle press-fit sockets. SEAF socket connectors offer a solder on each tail for ease of processing and up to 560 single-ended inputs and outputs (I/Os) or 140 differential pairs.

Samtec Q Strip mezzanine connectors are designed for high-speed board-to-board applications where signal integrity is essential. Q Strip connectors have surface mount signal contacts, as well as a surface mount ground plane between the two rows of signals for improved electrical performance. Mated sets of the Q Strip connectors are available in eight different stack heights from 5 mm to 30 mm. Options include guideposts for blind mate scenarios, as well as alignment pins and locking clips for proper connector placement before reflow.
