New UK Dates offer hands-on design experience

New Seminars for Feature Rich Design

    06/05/2012

Avnet Memec has today released the latest dates for its UK seminar series. The free technical hands-on workshops, in conjunction with Microsemi, will be based on the multi-award winning SmartFusion® technology. The seminars are being held on:

    • 28 June 2012 - Derby
    • 03 July 2012 - Blackwater, Surrey
SmartFusion customizable system-on-chip (cSoC) is the only device that integrates an FPGA, ARM® Cortex™-M3, and programmable analogue. Seminar delegates will be given the opportunity to experience first-hand how incorporating SmartFusion into a design will give them the flexibility to create a product without compromising on features. The one day seminars will consist of demonstrations, technical presentations and workshop labs with highlights including MSS configuration and system power management design. All hardware and software development tools will be provided for training purposes and all attendees will take away a free SmartFusion EVkit to support future designs. There will also be an opportunity to be one of the first to learn about the exciting next generation SoC family. "The demand for technical training with a hands-on experience has never been greater, especially for programmable cSoC solutions," explains Chris Withers, Business Development Manager at Avnet Memec. "With technical experts on hand throughout the day, they can learn how to get the best from the SmartFusion product family." Seminar places are limited and full details including registration are available on the Avnet Memec website: www.avnet-memec.eu/events/seminar-detail/event/microsemi-smartfusion-csoc-workshop.html www.avnet-memec.eu www.microsemi.com
