NGK’s Ultra-Thin, Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery Now Available on CoreStaff Online Semiconductor and Electronic Components E-Commerce Site

    12/08/2025

NGK INSULATORS, LTD. (hereinafter, “NGK”) has launched sales of its ultra-thin, compact lithium-ion rechargeable battery series EnerCera® on CoreStaff Online, a semiconductor and electronic components e-commerce site.

EnerCera is an ultra-thin, compact lithium-ion rechargeable battery. By employing NGK’s proprietary crystal-oriented ceramic positive electrode plate in a semi-solid battery, it combines features that have been difficult to achieve simultaneously with conventional lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, such as high capacity, high output, heat resistance, and long life. In addition, the risk of ignition is low, making it suitable for use in wearable devices and healthcare applications. CoreStaff Online, the e-commerce site where sales have now begun, has a sales network not only in Japan but also in Europe and the United States, enabling EnerCera to be delivered quickly to a wider range of customers. NGK will continue to explore new applications and demand for EnerCera, contributing to smoother product design and development for customers.
