The Call for Papers PCIM Asia 2014 is now open. The deadline for submissions for Chinas leading power electronics conference is 15 November 2013. The PCIM Asia 2014 international exhibition and conference for power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management is taking place from 17 - 19 June at the modern Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Increasing demand for Power Electronics The topics of lectures cover, amongst others, recent developments in power semiconductors, passive components, products for thermal management, new materials and sensors as well as power quality and energy management. Focus is on contributions for applications on the specific and increasing demand of power electronics in Asia and presentations discussing power electronics as enabling technology for the use of renewable energy. Proposals will be considered for conference papers or posters. All accepted papers will be included in the official PCIM Asia proceedings and the IET Inspec database. Attractive Best Paper Awards For three outstanding contributions in the categories „Young Engineer", „Best Paper" and "Best Paper Renewable Energy" three awards each 4,000 RMB will be granted.
