Pfannenberg USA Upgrades Green Series Cooling Units for Safe, Reliable and Compliant Enclosure Cooling

Pfannenberg, Inc., a global leader in thermal management and signaling technologies, announces updates to its Green Series enclosure cooling unit portfolio. Designed around real-world application requirements, the updated Green Series helps industrial customers address evolving F-Gas regulations while maintaining the safety, reliability and cooling performance required to protect critical electronics and keep operations running.

The portfolio combines proven nonflammable R513A refrigerant technology with mildly flammable R1234yf application-ready options for applications where safety requirements allow their use. R513A remains Pfannenberg’s recommended standard for many industrial applications, helping customers balance safety, reliability and F-Gas compliance as requirements change.

“As F-Gas regulations continue to evolve, customers need cooling solutions that support compliance without compromising safety, reliability or operational performance,” said Christoph Kähler, Global Product Manager at Pfannenberg. “The updated Green Series gives customers a flexible, application-focused platform with nonflammable R513A technology and application-ready R1234yf options to help them navigate changing requirements with confidence.”

The updated Green Series delivers optimized cooling performance, improved energy efficiency and reduced refrigerant charge, helping customers lower operating costs and environmental impact while preparing for future regulatory requirements. Its consistent design and technology platform supports a wide range of enclosure sizes and applications, from compact enclosures to equipment with higher cooling demands.

Pfannenberg has also expanded the Green Series with a 5.6 kW cooling capacity unit, providing an additional option for applications with greater thermal loads. Intelligent commissioning features, including simplified voltage selection, centralized connections and enhanced controller functionality, streamline installation, startup and service. The service-friendly design helps users commission units faster and provides a more efficient, consistent experience across the platform.
