    Programmable 1U universal-input 750W AC/DC power supplies offer wide output voltage adjustment,PFC

    01/31/2013

Featuring wide-adjust output voltages from 0V-5V to 0-135V, and current capabilities up to 70A, a Family of 1U programmable single-output AC-DC power supplies from Acopian deliver up to 750W. These rack and benchtop modules notably provide high power density, low ripple and a user-friendly front panel. The devices are suitable for use in a broad range of ATE, OEM and laboratory applications such as component testing, semiconductor burn-in, test and measurement, RF Amplifiers, LED/laser testing, and a variety of electromagnetic and electromechanical applications. The power supplies accommodate AC input voltages from 95 to 265VAC, 50/60Hz with active power factor correction (PFC) of 0.99 single phase to ensure operation in challenging AC environments and compliance with European EMC requirements. For added support, models can be configured with an optional fixed auxiliary output of between 3.3Vdc and 125Vdc, up to 180W. An intuitive front panel supports reliable linear controls for precise adjustment, and optional digital LED voltage and current meters. Voltage and current monitor outputs, and provisions for N+1 redundancy and paralleling for higher current, are also optionally available. Pluggable connectors are provided to facilitate quick and easy wiring of control and input leads. All models within the family are provided standard with active PFC, universal input, constant current, built-in over voltage protection (OVP), and constant current control to provide further flexibility. Additional standard features include "soft start" and "no load" operation, short circuit and overload protection, thermal protection, internal EMI filtering, RFI shielding, and remote sensing. Digital interfaces, including RS232, RS485, Ethernet and USB, are available upon request.
