PSMA to Introduce Updated Power Technology Roadmap as Plenary Presentation at APEC 2011

    01/24/2011

The 2011 Power Technology Roadmap, produced and published by the Power Sources Manufacturers Association, will be summarized as part of the plenary session keynoting the APEC 2011 Conference on March 7, 2011 in Fort Worth. Mr. Aung Thet Tu, Product Line Director at Fairchild Semiconductor, and co-chair of the PSMA Roadmap Committee, will deliver the presentation highlighting some of the technology trends that will shape power conversion products for the next two to five years. Every two years the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA) forms a team of industry experts to compile the latest trends influencing power conversion technology. The latest effort, co-chaired by Messrs. Carl Blake, V.P. Technical Marketing Transform, Inc, and Aung Thet Tu, involved more than 60 individuals representing power supply manufacturers, component suppliers and market research companies. The program focused on five key power conversion segments as well as their application ramifications. The results of this effort were further enhanced by an in-depth technology survey sent to all PSMA member companies. Copies of the Power Technology Roadmap will be available upon publication for purchase for $2490.00 at www.psma.com. As an important benefit of PSMA membership, Regular and Associate member companies receive the report as a benefit of membership while Affiliate member companies can obtain copies for $150.00.
