Pulse Withstanding Chip Resistor Boosts Power to 0.25W

    03/19/2019

RALEIGH, NC -- Stackpole's RPC0603-HP is a high-power, pulse-withstanding chip resistor with significantly more pulse power than a standard 0603 size chip resistor. The power rating for this part has been increased to 0.25W. In addition, the working voltage for the RPC0603-HP is 75V with an overload voltage of 150V. The expansion further enhances the RPC higher power capability beyond the recent additions of the RPC0805 - UP rated at 0.5W and RPC1206 - UP rated at 0.75W. This improved performance allows the RPC to be used in applications normally requiring a larger resistor such as downsizing and smaller size requirements for consumer electronics and power control.

Pricing for the RPC0603-HP depends on resistance value, and tolerance and ranges from $0.0375 to $0.05 each in full package quantities.
