Regulated mini power supplies fit behind standard wall outlets

    01/30/2013

Ideal for the use in modern home automation solutions, the RAC03-SCR/277 series of 3W regulated AC/DC mini power supplies from RECOM fit behind standard wall outlets and operate with an efficiency of up to 78%. Currently available from Rutronik, the devices offer a wide input voltage range of 85 to 305VAC to be used worldwide. With output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 or 24 VDC, currents from 900mA to 125mA are available. The modules have a 3kVAC isolated output and operate reliably in ambient temperatures up to +85°C. With a stand-by power consumption of only 40mW, the RAC03-SCR/277 is particularly energy-saving and consumes less than a twelfth of the requirements of the EuP directive. The whole RAC03-SCR series is CE marked and UL certified. Due to their round and flat shape, the only 11mm thick disks can be implemented simply and quickly, for example behind switch-plates or within wall boxes. Thus, they provide DC as it is required for "SmartHome"-applications. The series is ideal for the use in home and office as well as for a variety of applications in building automation, security systems and communication systems. Rutronik
