Rochester re-introduces the DM7440N from National Semiconductor

    08/12/2013

Rochester Electronics, a fully-authorized manufacturer and distributor for mature and discontinued semiconductors, has been licensed by National Semiconductor (acquired by Texas Instruments) to continue the manufacturing of the DM7440N since its EOL notification almost ten years ago. The DM7440N is a dual 4-input NAND gate in a 14-pin plastic DIP that operates over a full commercial temperature range. This device is used widely in an array of applications, and boards often times use multiple pieces of this device in a single application. Fortunately, through Rochester Electronics' Extension-of-Life® Program, the DM7440N is now available in military-grade configurations in ceramic-DIP, as well as CERPAK package types.
