Rochester to continue supplying Intel's TP80C51FA power microcontroller

    08/07/2013

Rochester Electronics has been authorized to continue supplying Intel's TP80C51FA since its end-of-life notification eight years ago. As part of its Extension-of-Life® Solutions, Rochester Electronics continues to manufacture and stock Intel's TP80C51FA Power Microcontroller, which is from the MCS® 51 controller family. The 8-bit, single-chip control-oriented microcontroller features a 40-pin dual in-line package (DIP) and is fabricated on CHMOS III technology. The TP80C51FA Power Microcontroller is designed for higher power applications that require pulse width modulation (PWM), high-speed I/O and up/down counting capabilities, such as motor control.
