    Rugged Power Supplies in Miniature Open-Frame Package

    TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TPP 100A-J and TPP 150A-J series of 100 and 150 watt open-frame power supplies. Their high efficiency topology, industrial-grade components and advanced thermal management enable -25°C to +85°C operation, compliance to IEC 60068-2-6 / IEC 60068-2-27 / MIL-STD-810F for shock & vibration, and reliability in excess of 785k hours supported by TRACO POWER’s 5 year warranty.

    The 100 watt TPP 100A-J models measure only 2.00 x 3.00 x 1.16” with full load, convection cooled operation up to 55°C. The 150 watt TPP 150A-J power supplies measure 2.00 x 4.00 x 1.16”, offer full-load operation up to 70°C with 10cfm airflow (100-120W Convection cooled operation up to 55°C or 60°C depending on model and input VAC). 150 watt models include a 12Vaux output to power an external fan. Available single outputs are 12 / 15 / 24 / 36 / 48 Vout. Features include 91-92% efficiency, <100uA Leakage Current, class I and II protection and conducted EMI meets EN 55032 class B with EN 55011 limits to IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition. Safety certifications include IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2xMOPP and Type BF medical applications and UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 for ITE / Industrial applications. Typical requirements include medical 2xMOPP and a wide range of ITE / Industrial applications for demanding safety and space critical applications.
