Same Sky Expands MEMS Microphones Product Line

Same Sky® and its Audio Group today announced the introduction of 18 new models to its MEMS microphones product offering. The CMM family is housed in compact packages as small as 2.75 x 1.85 x 0.90 mm with top or bottom port options. As reflow solder compatible components, these MEMS microphones afford designers additional flexibility where surface mount assembly is required.

Same Sky’s MEMS microphones feature analog or digital pulse density modulation (PDM) outputs, omnidirectional directivity, tight sensitivity tolerances as low as ±1 dB, and low current draw down to 80 μA. Additional specifications and features include:

    • Sensitivity: -42 to -26 dB
    • Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 57 to 67 dBA
    • Operating Frequency: 20 up to 20,000 Hz
    • Special Features: Select models offer low-power mode

The CMM models are available immediately with prices starting at $0.45 per unit at 100 pieces through distribution. Please contact Same Sky for OEM pricing.
