Same Sky Launches New Microphone Development Kits

Same Sky® and its Audio Group today announced the introduction of microphone development kits. Each kit consists of four independent microphone evaluation circuits with plated through hole I/O terminals for multiple testing options. The four detachable evaluation circuits each offer a different Same Sky microphone configuration, including analog and digital MEMS microphones as well as unidirectional, omnidirectional, and noise canceling electret condenser microphones. Here is a quick synopsis of the seven available development kits:

    • DEVKIT-ECM-001: one noise canceling ECM, an ECM for unidirectional sound capture, and two omnidirectional ECMs
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-001: two analog output and two digital output MEMS microphones with top and bottom sound port options
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-002: four digital output MEMS microphones with top sound ports
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-003: four analog output MEMS microphones with top and bottom sound port options
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-004: four analog output MEMS microphones with top and bottom sound port options
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-005: four analog output MEMS microphones with top and bottom sound port options
    • DEVKIT-MEMS-006: two analog output and two digital output MEMS microphones. The two digital MEMS microphones are identical allowing for MEMS microphone array testing

Same Sky’s microphone development kits are available immediately with prices starting at $4.48 per unit through distribution. Please contact Same Sky for OEM pricing.
