At electronica 2010, low power RF and mixed-signal ASIC designer, Shortlink, will announce RF transceiver IP building blocks for ASIC customers capable of consuming significantly less current than alternative solutions. The move aims to address growing demand from miniature battery powered product designers for ultra low power wireless operation in the ISM frequency bands 315/433, 868/915MHz and 2.45GHz. Hans-Erik Backram, Managing Director of Shortlink said, "When products are reliant on a single coin cell and wireless connectivity, designers want a proven RF solution that's ready to be implemented and which delivers the longest possible battery lifetime. In-house RF developments can be expensive and time-consuming for product designers, by applying our expertise and building block library our aim is to de-risk product development and significantly reduce time to market and cost." Shortlink will show its RF transceiver IP at Electronica, from Tuesday 9th November until Friday 12th November at Hall A4 Booth 143. The company is also represented at the exhibition by its local German agent Zwinz Technical Consulting. www.shortlink.se
