Silanna Signs Distribution Agreement with DigiKey for Cutting-Edge 10- to 16-bit Plural ADCs

    11/11/2025

Silanna Semiconductor, a global leader in analog innovation, has signed a deal with the global electronics distributor, DigiKey.

Under the terms of the deal, DigiKey will have access to Silanna's Plural family of 10- to 16-bit ADCs.

Plural ADCs implement a standard base design for each resolution that can be factory-configured, via the company's patented ResolutionEngine™, to create a wide range of SKUs that deliver high performance, lead times in weeks not months, and pricing 30% below the legacy ADC brands.

Initial configurations have been developed as drop-in replacements for many of the most common ADCs. With the four ADC platforms being fabricated, Silanna's approach enables far greater economies of scale and shorter lead times versus traditional designs.

The traditional approach to data converter manufacturing has required each variation to be fabricated independently. The result is long lead times, high costs and the risk of customer supply chain interruption.

"Recent years have seen several companies merge, with few able to come into the market and we've reached a point where there are now, effectively, only two legacy brands controlling the ADC space." said Patrick Moore, Vice President, Global Sales & Apps at Silanna. "Silanna’s approach is different and allows a broad range of ADCs to be produced far more effectively than existing methods and we're delighted to partner with DigiKey to extend Plural’s reach and deliver choice to a market starved for it."

"Adding Silanna Semiconductor to our industry-leading breadth and depth of in-stock products is a significant win for engineers," said Ken Paxton, Director, Advanced Semiconductor at DigiKey. "Our global customers will benefit from the ability to source high-performance 10- to 16-bit ADCs, paired with lower costs and shorter lead times, empowering them to design with more confidence. We look forward to working closely with Silanna in the future.”

The deal is effective immediately, with Silanna's Plural ADCs available here.
