Rated IP67 for harsh environment applications such as enhanced security systems, the POE33S-1AT-N single-output outdoor midspan from Phihong can drive Power-over-Ethernet IEEE802.3at compliant applications up to 200 meters (660 feet) from a network switch. The waterproof injector, designated , has an output of 33.6W at 56V DC and is ideal for applications in harsh environments, including IP cameras and wireless access points. The midspan is also equipped with SNMP protocol, which allows users to remotely troubleshoot end devices. Phihong also offers cable glands for one (PGLAND750) or two (PGLAND750-2) cables to ensure watertight operation. When using outdoor midspans, AC and Ethernet cables must be rated to the appropriate electrical codes for the intended environment.
