Stackpole CSRF Series claims industry's lowest resistance values

    08/03/2013

The CSRF Series from Stackpole is a foil on ceramic carrier technology designed for precision current sensing applications. The addition of the 0603 chip size with resistance values down to 5 milliohm and 0402 chip size with values down to 10 milliohm are among the industry's lowest values available for those sizes. This allows for more efficient current sensing in smaller applications such as handheld electronics. In many cases, it will allow for downsizing applications that used larger size current sense resistors because low resistance values were required. The CSRF Series is available in sizes ranging from the new 0402 and 0603 up to 2512. This series offers tolerances as low as 1% and TCR's down to 50 ppm. Pricing is size, resistance value, tolerance dependent and ranges from $0.088 to $0.30 each in full reel quantities. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distributor partners for volume pricing. Many popular sizes and values are currently in stock. Stackpole Electronics
