Standex-Meder Electronics, a leading manufacturer of precise, reliable, and long-lasting sensors and magnetic components worldwide, is proud to offer high-quality molding capabilities and solutions. Standex-Meder’s thermoset, thermoplastic insert, and macromelt low pressure injection moldings are designed to allow parts to operate in extreme environments, such as high temperature, flammable, chemical, and thermal situations.

These moldings offer end-product protection from abrasion, mishandling or mechanical shock due to their high-impact strength. Customization to meet customer needs is Standex-Meder’s specialty. Total molding solutions are available -- from design and testing to manufacturing and delivery of end-products. The company’s engineers will work directly with customers to find the best solutions for their applications

Standex-Meder offers a wide variety of state-of-the-art molding capabilities to meet diverse specifications. Size, shape, appearance, and texture of end-products can all be determined by the customer. For instance, foaming agents can be mixed into molding materials to reduce weight, and coloring agents can be added for aesthetic or identification purposes. Specially engineered plastics to provide heat dissipation and transfer can be used; plastics can also be custom blended to meet exact specifications. Additionally, Standex-Meder’s facility can mold materials to serve as connectors, strain relief, and/or seal protection from elements like heat, water, and dust. Stamping capabilities provide custom terminals that can be over-molded if required for the application.

Standex-Meder’s molding capabilities provide solutions for industries including, but not limited to, automotive, industrial & power, marine, and recreational vehicles. Applications for molded parts are many, such as fuel injections, high voltage relays, low frequency antennas, change machines, and more.
