TE Connectivity's Power Triple Lock wire-applied connector system now available from TTI

    09/11/2013

TE Connectivity's Power Triple Lock wire-applied connector system is designed to improve reliability among a broad range of power and signal applications. It can now be sourced through TTI Inc, the world's leading specialist distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components. The unique design of the connector system assures connector performance with three locking capabilities including terminal position assurance, integrated latching mechanism and connector position assurance. The Power Triple Lock connector system benefits from an extensive family line, ranging from free hanging and panel mount receptacles to future products such as board mount headers to meet every day design needs. It ensures contacts are fully seated while providing an added measure against contact backout with optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA). An audible latch provides cap and plug mating confirmation and ribs designed to protect the latch eliminate wire snags. Keying and colour coded housings prevent mis-mating during assembly. An optional Connector Position Assurance (CPA) guarantees connector system engagement in high vibration applications. Offered with three levels of housing materials supporting a variety of application requirements, the Power Triple Lock connector system is ideally suited for applications such as household appliances, automotive, commercial building, HVAC, industrial machinery and rail.
