Teseq's CDN 3083-B200 is a 200-A 3-phase burst pulse coupling/decoupling network for electrical-fast-transient and burst testing.

Teseq Inc, developer and provider of instrumentation and systems for EMC emission and immunity testing, now offers a 200-A 3-phase burst pulse CDN (coupling/decoupling network) for EFT (electrical-fast-transient) and burst testing. The CDN 3083-B200 easily handles high inrush currents and pulse-shaped peak currents for testing high-current and high-power equipment such as large machines, appliances, and smart grid applications. The CDN injects EFT pulses simultaneously into all supply lines of the EUT (equipment under test), up to 8 kV (5/50 ns, 50 ?). It operates with EUT supplies up to 690 VAC, either line-to-line or line-to-ground, or up to 1,000 VDC, line-to-line or line-to-ground. Compliant with IEC 61000-4-4, Teseq's CDN 3083-B200 is compatible with all brands of burst generators. The new system is compact, lightweight, and easy to handle. It is convenient for off-site testing and allows for more setup options in standard compliance applications, where the distance between the CDN and EUT is short and the use of combined EFT and surge CDNs cannot meet the requirements testing standards set. To prevent damage to internal components, the CDN 3083-B200 features a large overstress capability and a built-in thermometer that monitors temperature to avoid overload. Although designed for continuous performance up to 200 A per phase, the CDN 3083-B200 can also withstand considerably higher currents, for shorter durations. It features screw terminals rated for 200 A, a maximum burst voltage of 8 kV and earth terminal grounding. Weighing approximately 11 kg the CDN measures 43 x 31 x 19 cm. Teseq Teseq rental products
