    TRACO Power opens North American sales & support center

    TRACO Power North America opened its Silicon Valley office on August 1, 2016 to provide increased service levels to a growing customer base throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
    TRACO Power, established more than 35 years ago, is a recognized leading designer & manufacturer of high quality DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion products.

    TRACO Power North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of TRACO Electronic with headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, will support the North American distribution network and support customers directly with both technical and commercial support. Paul Christiansen, President, says "We are looking forward to further developing the North America market and bringing increased levels of service to customers. We are making strong investments in personnel and continued product development to enhance our portfolio of solutions and strengthen our market position."

    TRACO Power distributes its products through a global network of franchised distributors recognized in the industry for top-level design, stocking and supply chain services. The North America distribution partners include; Sager Electronics, Mouser Electronics, Power Sources Unlimited (PSUI), TRC Electronics, Newark Electronics and Allied Electronics.
