    TTI Stocks 4 Direction Optical Sensor from Rohm

    Fort Worth, Texas – TTI, Inc., is now stocking the RPI-1035 optical sensor from Rohm Semiconductor. This sensor is targeted for specialty sensing applications including cameras, medical, industrial, manufacturing automation, safety, and security equipment.

    The RPI-1035 is a uniquely packaged surface mounted 4 direction detector. With an integrated 950nm LED for optimum sensing performance. The LED can be driven at a MAX of 50mA with 80mW power dissipation. The detector operates at 5V and produces a minimum collector current of 100mA.  Response times are rated at 10ms for high-speed detection and time-critical applications.  Operating temperature range is -25 to +85 degrees Celsius. This device is targeted for camera applications, both still and video. Additionally, it can be used as a multi-object sensor in medical and industrial applications.
