Unipower has announced the appointment of William T. (Bill) Yeates as Chief Executive Officer. Yeates will have responsibility for all of Unipower's day-to-day operations. Mr. Yeates' experience includes CEO and COO of Power-One. He has also been Vice-President and General Manager of Lucent Technologies' Titania Power Division, Managing Director Lucent Power Systems for the Asia/Pacific Division, Director of Network Systems Power Sales for Lucent North America and Director of Lucent's Power Supplies Business Unit. With Bill's addition, Unipower has taken a large step forward in reaching its goals of being one of the leaders in the power-electronics industry.
