UNIPOWER's already popular SABRE Series rack-mount inverter systems just became Network aware with this addition of a new TCP/IP Ethernet communications unit designated Xport. The SABRE Inverter system's existing communications module provides direct communications to a PC running the Winpower client application via USB, RS232 or RS485 interfaces. By plugging an Xport unit into the communications module's expansion port this capability extends onto the Local Network and gives any PC within the same address range and running the Winpower client application the same facilities.
