    US Highland announces partnership with NIRA Control

    US Highland has announced a strategic partnership with Stockholm-based NIRA Control, that specializes in development and delivery of custom-made advanced ECUs (electronic control units) for combustion engines. The NIRA eec Platform technology replaces relays and fuses while adding electronic control and diagnostics. "US Highland and NIRA have assembled a team of experts for the customization of ECUs tailored specifically to US Highland's powertrains, motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs," said US Highland's president and CEO John R. Fitzpatrick, III.  "Results to date have been exceptional and are allowing each respective company to leverage capabilities that will enhance the entire industry," Mr. Fitzpatrick concluded.  US Highland is now in position to mass produce engine and vehicle platforms with anticipated production of select models in the fall of 2012.
