    XP Power's ECE05 and ECE10 series single-output power supplies offer no-load dissipation < 300 mW and provide 5 and 10 W, respectively, at common output voltages between 3.3 and 48 V DC from 85 to 264 V AC.

XP Power has announced ultra-small, efficient, 5- and 10-W single-output AC-DC power supplies. Measuring just 1 x 1 x 0.6 in. (25.4 x 25.4 x 15.24 mm), the miniature 5-W ECE05 series of encapsulated board-mount power supplies are well suited for end-product designs in applications that require low power and high power density and in which available board space is at a premium. Complementing the ECE05 series, the ECE10 series provides a 10 W output from a similarly compact encapsulated package measuring just 1.5 x 1 x 0.6 inches (38.1 x 25.4 x 15.24 mm). Both series comprise seven models covering the popular nominal output voltages: 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, and 48 V DC, all from a wide universal input of 85 to 264 V AC with Class II construction, meaning no earth or ground connection is necessary. All models meet the internationally recognized no-load power consumption limit of less than 300 mW ensuring end-products comply with world-wide energy-efficiency standards. A peak load capability permits an output of up to 130 % of nominal output power to cater for short-term high power loads without the need to specify a higher rated power module, saving both board space and additional cost. The ECE05/10 modules are convection cooled and operate without need for additional heat sinking or forced airflow. The supplies' operating temperature range is -25 to +70 °C, with no derating up to +50 °C. The units meet international IT safety standards EN60950-1, UL609501-1, and CSA22.2 No. 234. They also comply with EN55022 level B limits for conducted and radiated EMC without the need for any additional filtering components. XP Power has priced the ECE05 at $14.82 and the ECE10 at $21.06 in 500 unit quantities. XP Power Product datasheet deeplink
