XP Power signs distribution agreement with TRC Electronics

    03/03/2021

The new partnership will allow the specialist stocking distributor to sell XP Power’s entire product portfolio across North America to the industrial electronics, healthcare, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and technology sectors.

XP Power’s AC-DC power supply range of ITE and medical safety-certified products covers power outputs from 3 Watts to 5,000 Watts and includes open-frame, enclosed, desktop, plug-in wall mounted, DIN rail and PCB mounted units. Many units also conform to the current Level VI energy efficiency specifications requirements and have efficiencies up to 95 %.

DC-DC converters, including those certified for use in medical and railway applications, range from 0.25 Watts to 750 Watts output and are available in SMD, through-hole, baseplate cooled, and chassis mount configurations. Low-cost switching regulators also form part of the DC-DC converter line up.

High voltage power supplies are also included in the extensive portfolio. These include low power miniature PCB mounted models offering voltages up to 25kV, and high-power solutions up to 500kV.

“We’re delighted to be partners with TRC Electronics for the distribution of our AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, high voltage power supplies, and EMC filters,” says Steve Head, Marketing Director, XP Power. “With their technical capabilities and exceptional customer support, focusing on similar markets to ourselves, they are an ideal partner for XP Power in North America.”

Stephen Lagomarsino, President of TRC Electronics, states, “We are truly excited to bring XP Power’s tremendous portfolio of high-quality power supply solutions to our clients. Furthermore, we are encouraged by the customer focus alignment between the TRC and XP Power teams. By TRC partnering with a supplier that shares our philosophy of providing customers an ultimate power supply buying experience, TRC will increase the positive impact on the manufacturing organizations that we serve.”
