Precision power measurements require the right equipment like the LMG series precision power analyzers from ZES ZIMMER. To allow the measurement of high currents, current sensors are needed, which divide the current by a fixed ratio. For these kind of applications the company now offers the DS200 and DS600 current sensors from Danisense based on the zero flux technology. The magnetic flux, induced by the primary current, is compensated by a secondary current, which is exactly proportional to the primary current. The DS200 converts currents up to 200 A with a ratio of 1:500, the DS600 can be used up to 600 A and has a ratio of 1:1,500. The intrinsic error of both types is less than 0.5 ppm of full scale. The current sensors work from DC up to frequencies of 100 kHz with an extremely flat frequency response. The ruggedized aluminium housing guarantees optimal shielding against external noise. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +85 °C. The output connection is realized with LEMO, BNC, or DSUB connectors. ZES ZIMMER has an exclusive distribution agreement with Danisense for the German market. "The need for high precision power measurement is continuously growing over the past years", says Bernd Neuner, Director of Global Sales at ZES ZIMMER, "We are therefore very happy, that we agreed on an exclusive distribution partnership with Danisense, allowing us to offer our customers a complete program of power measurement equipment."
