ZF Electronics Names RS Components as European Switches & Controls Distributor of the Year Due to Massive Sales Growth

    12/16/2010

ZF Electronics has named RS Components as its European Distributor of the Year 2010 for its Cherry Switches & Controls product range. The award recognizes the enormous growth - above 100% year on year overall and up to 150% in some countries - that the leading European Catalogue distributor has achieved. This positions RS, High Service Distributor, as the largest European stockist of Cherry switches. This growth has been driven by the introduction of a significant number of new parts - more than 200 over the past 18 months. Presenting the award to Valérie Ramon, RS Category Business Manager, Michael Groom, Managing Director of ZF Electronics UK Ltd commented: "RS supports our strategic goal for the Cherry brand, which is to make our product more widely available, in both major and emerging European markets. They have provided fantastic support this year across all business functions - product management, purchasing, marketing - and fully deserve their success." Added Ruth Morgan-Ryder, Supplier Account Manager at RS: "The Cherry brand has long been recognized for quality and reliability. Our customers have demonstrated their preference for these high-performance products and we are delighted with the support that we have received from Michael and his team at ZF Electronics. We hope to grow the business even more next year." www.cherry.co.uk
