Microsemi claims lowest-power sub-gigahertz transceiver for IoT energy harvesting

In this episode of PSDtv, Microsemi shows an ultra-low power sub-gigahertz transceiver for IoT energy harvesting at Embedded World 2016. Their sub-GHz RF transceivers are optimized to achieve extremely low power consumption in wireless-sensor applications. In addition to extremely low sleep and TX/RX currents, Microsemi's RF transceivers are also highly integrated, and offered in very small packages requiring only a few external components.
