In this episode of PSDtv, Cypress Semiconductor demonstrates their latest power management ICs (PMICs) for Power Systems Design. The S6BP50x PMIC series for automotive instrument cluster systems integrate a buck controller, a buck converter and a boost converter, along with a Spread Spectrum Clock Generator (SSCG), all in a single chip, and their S6BL112A automotive-grade LED driver has synchronous control and is able to drive LEDs at a 2.1-MHz switching frequency.
