2 and 3 Amp Cost Effective POL Converters in SIP-3 Packages

TRACO Power is proud to announce the release of the new TSR 2N & TSR 3N cost-efficient POL converters.

These step-down switching regulator series are a drop-in replacement for any TO-220 package linear regulators. Complementing TRACO Power's new generation of converters focused strongly on cost-efficient designs, these models offer an input range of 4.6 - 36VDC, cutting down on extra design work as well as sourcing multiple converters for each input source. The efficient design allows full load operation from -40*C to +95°C ambient without the need of a heat sink or forced cooling. The TSR 2N and TSR 3N switching regulators feature short circuit protection, current limitation and under voltage lockout for a broad application range in many environments, especially high volume projects where the series will help to reduce production costs.

    • Highly cost-efficient design
    • Pin compatible with TO-220 package linear regulators
    • Excellent thermal capabilities
    • Full load operation –40°C to +95°C
    • Efficiency up to 95%
    • Ultra-wide 4.6–36 VDC input
    • Short circuit protection, current limitation and under voltage lockout
    • 3-year product warranty

The new TSR 2N & TSR 3N models are in stock now and available through TRACO Power’s global distribution network. Please go here for documentation and sourcing.
