    4792: Outlet 16 A for Flexible Wiring

    03/31/2026

When space is limited and wiring must be efficient, every detail counts. The new SCHURTER 4792 outlet type J offers an intelligent solution: horizontally aligned connections, rotated 90° compared to standard designs. This variant facilitates wiring in power distribution units (PDUs).

The 4792 outlet combines space-saving design with easy installation. The snap-in mounting system for wall thicknesses from 0.8 to 3.0 mm (standard: 1.2 and 1.5 mm; variants on request) enables quick and secure installation.

    Versatile and reliable

Available in black, white, or gray, the 4792 outlet offers greater design freedom for a variety of applications. With several connection options (standard: QC 6.3 mm; QC 4.8 mm, solder or PCB connections available on request), it offers various wiring possibilities. Certified according to VDE, UL, and CCC, the 16 A outlet guarantees worldwide conformity and safety.

    Areas of application

The new 4792 outlet with a rated current of 16 A is suitable for use as a component in power distribution units (PDUs), which are used in particular in data centers, but also for other applications such as industry, IoT, and IT/telecommunications.
