    Acopian Power Supplies Named a 2017 Raytheon Supplier Excellence Program Award Winner

    Acopian Power Supplies modified-standard and custom power supplies, today announced that it has received the 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award for 2017 from Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. Of Raytheon’s more than 3,500 supplier partners participating in the annual event, only 84 were granted 4-Star honors for outstanding performance.  The award was presented at Raytheon’s Supplier Appreciation Event on May 2nd at the Marriott in Copley Square, Boston, MA. Acopian Power Supplies won the 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award in 2015 and 2014, as well as the 3-Star Supplier Excellence Award in 2013.

    Now in its tenth year, Raytheon’s Supplier Excellence Program identifies mission critical suppliers for better engagement and communication; provides quantitative and qualitative measurement of supplier performance; and recognizes and rewards top performers who contribute to Raytheon’s business success. Award candidates are judged on certain criteria, including overall quality and on-time delivery.
