    Avnet Abacus bring Amphenol Sine and Delta Electronics to Europe

    Avnet Abacus has signed a pan-European franchise agreement to represent Delta Electronics and a distribution agreement with Amphenol Sine Systems division of Amphenol. In 2009 Delta Electronics began mass production and shipment of products under its Delta brand, a range that includes CLiQ and CLiQ-II series DIN-rail power supplies and modules; PMC, PMT, PJ series panel-mount and open-frame supplies; and MDS series medical adapters and open frames. Cor Van Dam, marketing director, power for Avnet Abacus in Europe, added: "We are delighted to be able to bring the world's largest power supply manufacturer's products to our diverse customer base."

    Amphenol Sine System's latest focus products include RT360 industrial circular connectors; AT, ATP and AHD series connectors; and M23 and M40 circular DIN connectors and cables. RT360 industrial circular connectors are multiway connectors are available in 6 shell sizes and 22 insert arrangements with a variety of wire gauge options.  The AT, ATP, and AHD series connectors are designed for use in heavy equipment, agricultural, automotive, military, and alternative energy. Components feature Amphenol Sine Systems' FlexGrip backshell system and RockSolid contacts. "Amphenol Sine Systems' interconnect [products] ideally complement our existing broad portfolio and their strong local support will help us both to promote their products to our existing customers and also help us win new ones," said Marco Enge, senior product manager at Avnet Abacus.
