    Cost-Optimized 1 & 2 Watt DC/DC Converters

    05/31/2019

San Jose, Calif. – TRACO POWER announces the release of the new TBA family of 1 & 2 watt DC/DC Converters in the industry standard SIP-7 package. Specifically designed to offer a low-cost solution with no concessions on quality and lifetime. Enhanced features include an integrated short-circuit protection circuit, higher I/O isolation and extended temperature range.

The TBA / SIP-7 family consists of three platforms: 1 Watt TBA-1E with 1500 VDC isolation; 1 Watt TBA- 1HI with 3000VDC isolation; and 2 Watt TBA-2 models with 1500 VDC isolation. Providing basic I/O isolation of circuits for a broad range of low power applications, these 1 & 2 watt converters are ideal for applications where low cost, enhanced performance and space are critical. They are drop-in replacements for older, existing 1 to 2 watt SIP-7 products in the market. Features include: 3.3 / 5 / 12 / 24 Vin (±10% Range); Single Outputs of 5 / 9 / 12 / 15 Vout (Semi-Regulated); Dual Outputs of ±5 / ±12 / ±15 Vout; -40°C ~ + 85°C Operation (Full Load); and >2 Million Hours MTBF (MIL-HDBK-27F). All models are manufactured to meet UL 62368-1 / EN60950-1 safety standard and are supported by TRACO POWER’s 3 Year Warranty.

Products are in stock and available through distributors around the globe with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks. Please see www.tracopower.us/tba for specifications, drawings and safety documentation.
