Four-Terminal Current-Sense Resistors Offer High Accuracy

    01/16/2020

Current sensing for high efficiency can be done easily and economically using current sense resistors, however as resistance values are reduced, the measurement error due to lead resistance becomes more of a problem. For applications desiring high efficiency with the best possible temperature accuracy, the HCSK high current four terminal current sense product is an ideal choice. The HCSK's 50 ppm TCR combined with the four terminal connection provide sensing output with very low temperature measurement error.

The HCSK is available in sizes from 1216 to 4026, in power ratings from 2W to 5W and resistance values of 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 milliohm. Applications include power modules, frequency converters, home appliances, solid state power supplies, hybrid power control, automotive and industrial power and control applications.

Pricing will vary depending on size and ranges from $0.33 to $0.50 each in full reel quantities. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distributors for volume pricing.
